How does Auto-Trading work in the mobile app?

The Auto-Trading feature (hereinafter AT) allows the system to automatically repeat a previously opened trade while preserving its initial parameters (direction, investment amount, multiplier, Take Profit level, and other settings). The trade is reopened only if the initial position is closed by a Take Profit order.

You can enable the AT feature in the new trade settings. Tap the "(A)" icon to switch from the default "Buy" or "Sell" mode to "Start Auto-Trading" mode.

How Auto-Trading works

  • With AT enabled, if a trade reaches your set Take Profit level and closes automatically, the system opens a new trade for the same instrument, in the same direction, and with the same parameters at the current available market price.

  • If a trade results in a loss and is closed by a Stop Loss order, Stop Out, or manually, AT is automatically disabled regardless of overall profit or loss.

  • If you adjust the settings of an active trade (such as multiplier, Take Profit, Stop Loss, or Auto-Increase), the system will not apply these updates when opening a new automated trade. Reopening will occur using only the original parameters. To open a trade with updated parameters, disable AT for the open position and initiate a new trade with your desired settings.

  • You can disable AT at any time in the open trade settings.

  • If you do not set a Take Profit level, AT will not activate.

  • If you disable Take Profit on an open trade, AT is deactivated.

  • When you enable AT, the following default parameters are applied:
    Auto-Increase feature: Enabled

Take Profit: Set according to default platform settings (typically 30%, though this may vary depending on the instrument and market conditions)

Transaction volume: 2% of free margin (deposit), but not less than the minimum required position size

Multiplier: Maximum allowable multiplier for the selected instrument

  • You can adjust these default parameters before opening a trade. Setting a Take Profit level is a required condition to proceed.

  • Enabling AT does not automatically open a trade. To execute a position with AT active, tap the "Start Auto-Trading" button.

Example: You open a trade on EUR/USD with the following parameters:

  • Direction: Buy

  • Investment amount: $100

  • Multiplier: 300

  • Take Profit: $30

  • Stop Loss: $30

In this scenario, AT automatically opens 6 trades in sequence: 5 close with a profit and the 6th closes with a loss. Thanks to AT, your total profit reaches $150 (compared to $30 from a single manual trade).

The most favorable market condition for AT is a strong trend without deep corrections. This allows you to execute a series of profitable trades before the market reverses and triggers a Stop Loss or Stop Out, which then disables AT.

Non-Stop Trading (NST)

The Non-Stop Trading (NST) feature is an optional extension of AT. It allows the system to automatically reopen a trade whether it is closed by Take Profit or Stop Loss.

Example: You open a trade on EUR/USD with the following parameters:

  • Direction: Buy

  • Investment amount: $100

  • Multiplier: 300

  • Take Profit: $30

  • Stop Loss: $30

The market moves in an uptrend with temporary deep corrections, triggering both Take Profit and Stop Loss orders. The system automatically opens consecutive positions until NST/AT is manually disabled or the active position is closed manually.

In this example, 7 trades were opened automatically using NST: 5 were profitable and 2 were unprofitable before trading was stopped manually. Total income reached $120 (compared to $30 under standard AT, which would have shut down after the first Stop Loss on trade #3).

NST is useful during sustained trends if you want to remain in the market through short-term volatility. However, because NST continues after losses, you should monitor the market closely and turn off NST if the trend ends.

Using AT and NST features in conjunction with the auto-increase feature

You can use AT with the auto-increase feature, which allows you to hold a position if the market moves in the opposite direction. With the AT feature, you will be able to set a Stop Loss above the level of the initiated transaction in order to limit maximum risk. Since the auto-increase feature adds 50% when a drawdown of 50% is reached, your final investment amount will be greater than the initial amount. You can read more about the auto-increase feature here.

Example: You invest $100 with the auto-increase feature, and the market begins to move against the open position. In this case, each time a drawdown is reached, your investment amount will increase according to the following formula: $100 + 50% ($50) = $150 + 50% ($75) = $225 + 50% ($112.50) = $337.50, and so on, using all available capital.

In order to limit maximum risk for you, we have added the ability to set a Stop Loss greater than the initial investment amount (but less than the available deposit) when using the auto-increase capital feature. If you invest $100 using the AT, NST, and auto-increase features, you can set a Stop Loss at any level, e.g., $200 or $300. Upon reaching this level, the trade will be closed with a loss, and in the case of NST, a new trade will be opened with an initial investment amount of $100.

Disabling AT on an open trade

To stop AT on an active position:

  1. Go to the "Trades" section and tap the three-dot button next to the trade.

  2. Select "Turn off Auto-Trading" from the menu.

Note: Disabling AT does not close your current open trade. It only stops the automatic reopening of future positions. The active trade will remain open until it hits a Take Profit, Stop Loss, or Stop Out level, or until you close it manually.

Disabling AT when trading conditions change

If trading conditions change for an instrument (for example, if the maximum multiplier is reduced due to high market volatility or low liquidity, or if trading switches to close-only mode), AT and NST will automatically deactivate if the required initial multiplier is no longer available.

Example: You open a trade with $100, a multiplier of x300, and a Take Profit of $30. Following a major news release, the trade closes in profit. However, due to market volatility, the broker lowers the maximum allowed multiplier to x200. Because the system cannot open the next trade at x300, AT is automatically disabled. To continue, you must manually open a new trade using the newly available multiplier.
