How does Auto-increase work in Libertex?

What is Auto-increase?

On the Libertex platform, you have access to a feature called Auto-increase, which automatically increases your trading position when your open trade reaches a specific loss percentage (the default is 50% or more, excluding the multiplier).

How to activate Auto-increase?

To use this feature, simply enable the "Auto-increase" option in the transaction window when placing a new trade, or toggle it on within the details of an existing open trade.

How to modify Auto-increase parameters

The default parameters for Auto-increase are:

  • Trigger Loss: 50%

  • Amount to Add: 50%

If you are using the mobile app, you can customize these parameters:

1. Tap the Gear icon next to "Auto-increase".

2. Tap "EDIT" next to the parameter you wish to modify.

3. Move the horizontal slider to choose your desired percentage.

Important note: At this time, only clients with Gold status or higher are eligible to modify these parameters.

What happens when Auto-increase is triggered?

When your trade reaches a loss of ≥50%, the system will automatically reinvest 50% of the initial amount using the free funds in your account. If you have customized your parameters, the system will trigger and reinvest according to the specific percentages you have defined.

Example

  • You open a trade with $100.

  • If the loss reaches $50, the system adds another $50.

  • The new trade amount becomes $150, with the same $50 loss.

  • ⚠️ A spread will be charged for the increase.

What changes after Auto-increase is applied?

When Auto-increase is triggered, several things are adjusted in your trade:

1. The amount increases and the stop out level moves

2. The opening price is recalculated

The new opening price is adjusted to the weighted average between:

  • The original trade price, and

  • The market price at the moment of Auto-increase

3. A spread fee is charged

This fee is based on the increase amount multiplied by the current multiplier.

4. Overnight fees are recalculated

From the moment Auto-increase is triggered, overnight fees are recalculated based on the new trade amount.

5. The multiplier remains unchanged

The increase is made using the same multiplier applied in the original trade.
