The cache is a temporary storage area that saves data from visited web pages to help them load faster when reopened. However, outdated cached data can conflict with updated website versions, causing errors or display issues. Clearing your cache and cookies periodically helps prevent these problems.
Select your browser below and follow the instructions to clear your cache and cookies.
Google Chrome
Launch Google Chrome on your computer.
Click the three-dots icon in the top-right corner.
Hover over History, then select History again (or press Ctrl + H / Cmd + H).
Click Clear browsing data in the left menu.
Select the time range, check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
Launch Mozilla Firefox on your computer.
Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) and select Settings.
Select Privacy & Security from the left panel.
Scroll down to the History section and click the Clear History... button.
Choose your desired time range, check Cookies and Cache, then click Clear Now.
Microsoft Edge
Launch Microsoft Edge on your computer.
Click the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
Go to Privacy, search, and services.
Under the Clear browsing data section, click Choose what to clear.
Select your time range, check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then click Clear now.
Opera
Launch Opera on your computer.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Del (or Cmd + Shift + Delete on Mac) to open the deletion menu.
Select the time range for the data you want to remove.
Make sure Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data are checked.
Click Clear data.
Safari
Launch Safari on your computer.
In the top menu bar, click Safari, then select Settings (or Preferences on older macOS versions).
Click the Advanced tab and check the box for Show features for web developers (or Show Develop menu in menu bar).
Click Develop in the top menu bar, then select Empty Caches.
