Why wasn't my pending order opened?

What is margin in Libertex?

When you trade on the Libertex platform, the money you invest is reserved as margin. This margin acts as a guarantee to ensure you can cover the position you want to open.

What happens with pending orders?

If you set a pending order to open when the price reaches a certain level, that order will only open if you have enough margin available at that time.

Why didn’t your pending order open?

If, at the moment your pending order should activate, you don’t have enough margin available, the platform will not execute the order. This means the position will not open, even if the price level you set is reached.

What can you do?

  • Always check that you have enough balance and available margin so your pending order can be executed.

  • Review your balance and open positions to make sure you’re not using all your margin in other trades.

  • If needed, adjust the trade size so it fits your available margin.
