The contract has expired
There are several contracts for the same asset in the stock market, but on our platform, you can only trade one at a time. Each contract has a validity period, and when it expires, we replace the old contract with a new one.
The prices of these contracts usually differ, which is why you may see short-term price differences compared to other sources.
If you compare our quotes with those from the stock market, you will see that they match, as we provide real market quotes.
To check the expiration date and other specifications, look at the Instrument Specifications: Advanced – Expiration Date.
Quotes come from different contracts
Some assets or instruments trade on multiple exchanges. For example, the Nikkei 225 trades on both CME Group and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and there can be differences in quotes and conditions between them.
Also, within a single exchange, there are several contracts for the same underlying asset trading simultaneously but with different expiration dates.
To see details of each contract and the link to the corresponding exchange, check the Contract Specifications: Advanced – Venue.
