What does reducing active investment volume mean?
Reducing your active investment volume means selling shares or fractions of shares that you currently own in your account.
💡 Practical example
Suppose you bought 1.99 shares of nVidia when the share price was USD 227.55.
After some time, the share price increased to USD 282.42, and you decide to partially lock in your profit by selling part of those shares.

To reduce the investment volume, go to the “Active investments” section of the Libertex Portfolio account.
Then select the desired active investment and click on the "Sell" button.
In the window that appears, you must specify the amount of shares to sell. The "Sell" button will result in the sale of the specified number of shares.
⚠️ Important note
If you have assets available, you can sell shares or fractions of shares. Remember, you can choose the amount you want to sell in the investment close window.
Also, when you reduce the volume (i.e., sell part of the shares), the opening price of the original investment is not recalculated.
