What is a cache, and why should I clear it?

The cache is a folder where information from visited Internet pages is stored. This was originally used by Internet browsers to help them load information on a page more quickly. However, web pages may not display correctly because changes to the web pages have been made, and the browser continues to use outdated data from the cache. That's why it's advisable to clear your Internet browser's cache from time to time.
