1. Check your internet connection
First, make sure you’re connected to the internet. Try opening any website in your browser to confirm your connection is active.
2. Double-check your login details
The issue might be caused by an incorrect username or password. Carefully re-enter your credentials and try again.
NOTE: You can copy your login, password, and server details directly from your Libertex Personal Area:
On your computer: Go to the "My accounts" section, select the desired MetaTrader account, and look for "Check credentials".
In the mobile app: Go to the "Wallet" section, tap on the desired MetaTrader account, and select "Credentials".
3. Check your antivirus or firewall
Sometimes an antivirus or firewall can block the terminal from connecting. If this happens, simply add the MetaTrader application to your antivirus or firewall's exceptions list.
4. Make sure you're using the correct server
Your account needs to be connected to the correct MT server based on your account number. Use the table below to find your server:

If your internet connection runs through a proxy server, it may prevent you from connecting to our trading servers. A proxy server acts as a middleman between your computer and the trading server, and is often used by certain internet service providers or local networks.
If you are experiencing connection issues, we recommend contacting your system administrator or internet provider to confirm if a proxy is being used. If so, configure your trading terminal as follows:
In the MetaTrader terminal, click "Tools" in the top menu bar and select "Options".
On the "Server" tab, check the "Enable proxy server" box to activate the settings, then click the "Proxy..." button.
Enter the following details (provided by your system administrator or internet provider):
Server: The address and type of the proxy server.
Login: Your username to access the proxy server (leave blank if not required).
Password: Your password to access the proxy server (leave blank if not required).
Click "OK" to save your proxy settings, then click "OK" again to close the "Options" window.
