What about different copy trading signals?
Each copied trading signal is treated independently.
Losses associated with one signal do not affect the commissions payable on another.
In other words, the overall profitability of the copier's account does not influence the performance fee for specific signals.
What is the High Watermark?
The High Watermark represents the highest value the client's account has ever reached.
Fees are only applied if this mark is exceeded.
🔹 Each time a profit is generated, and the corresponding commission is then deducted, that new net value becomes the new reference mark.
🔹 If the copier suffers a loss, the mark is maintained. Commissions are only applied if the losses are recovered and a new profit is generated.
The High Watermark will be set independently for each SP, depending on the copier's balance at the start of the copying process for the specific transaction. Therefore, profits earned from other SP accounts while the trade is open will not affect the High Watermark.
What happens if you win and then lose?
It's possible for a copier to generate profits above the High Watermark, but within the same period suffer losses that take them below it.
In this case:
➡️ The commission is not collected yet.
➡️ It is deferred to the next reporting period (the following day, week, or month).
➡️ It will only be paid when the losses are recovered and new net profits are generated.
Illustrated example
Below you can see a graph showing how a 50% daily commission would be applied based on the copier's performance and its relationship to the High Watermark:
